The Azecta region starts in a region that is based upon the very south-most bit of Mexico, and romps through an area akin to most of the northern half of South America. In contrast to other regions, Azecta has but two water routes.
- The first leads directly to the Pokemon League for that region.
- The second branches from the first and leads to an Underwater cavern (Which will probably house a legendary of some sort.)
While there are not many water routes, there are Seven caves.
- The first cave connects two rivaling towns. It's long, but small.
- The second cave is part of a mountain, and leads up to a Small Town and, possibly, a Legendary. It's very large.
- The third leads to the Seventh Gym leader. It's fraught with Rock-Type Pokemon of all races and creeds. It's rather large
- The fourth cave is medium-sized and is just before the water route, making it humid inside and the perfect nesting ground for dragons.
- The fifth is the before-mentioned Underwater Cavern, and is very cold, for it lies deep beneath the ocean. It's not a dive-cave, it merely has many stairs downwards. It's also extremely large.
- The sixth is Victory Road.
- The Seventh is a thick, tough maze of Strength Puzzles and the like. It's only accessible after the Pokemon league, and the exit leads to a thick jungle where you can find a very rare Pokemon. Surprisingly, it's rather thin, but it's extreme length and sheer toughness makes up for its lack of girth.
There are eight Gym leaders, who have yet to be named. For the most part.
1: Flying Type, Yin Badge, (Related to 3, Girl)
2: Fire Type, Sol Badge (Rival of 4, Man)
3: Ground Type, Yang Badge (Related to 1, Boy)
4: Water Type, Agua Badge (Rival of 2, Man)
5: Ice Type, North Badge (North district of city)
6: Grass Type, South Badge (South district of city)
7: Rock Type, Cavern Badge (Totally unrelated)
8: Dark Type, Abyss Badge (???)
And the Elite Four looks like this...
1: Poison Type
2: Normal Type
3: Fighting Type
4: Steel Type
Champion: ???
Also, The Rockets are back. They have reformed in the Azecta region, under Giovanni's orders to search for Mew. People thought he was long gone, and the relatively unknown elder of the Rockets went on to reform his empire with ease.
That's about all I have so far. OH! The starters...
The Grass Starter is called Moslick, and will be based off of Chameleons and Geckos. The firat and final forms have already been designed, and I'm waiting for inspiration to strike for the middle form.
1: Moslick, Grass
2: ???, Grass/Rock
3: ???, Grass/Steel
The Water starter, Slizard, and it's evolutionary family, Newthe and Scimibian, are all based off of amphibians and the prehistoric sea predators.
1: Slizard, Water
2: Newthe, Water
3: Scimibian, Water/Ghost
The Fire starter is the most vague at the moment. I wanted to do a Fire/Psychic combo, but my friend is arguing for his Fire/Dark, dog-based evolutions. Which sound alot like Houndour/Houndoom to me. I'll stick with the Psychic type...
1: ???, Fire
2: ???, Fire/Psychic
3: ???, Fire/Psychic

If you want the original back, I'll keep it safe until we get back in school.

You know what I'm talking about, right? How would you phrase that, though?
(I can't put in too much, on account of the character limit)

Riddle me this: were Pinocchio to claim, "my nose is about to grow," what would happen?
